It is often said that a person who sleeps for 8 Hours a day and lives for 75 years would have slept for 25 years of his life, this however also applies to Countries and Continents.
Disruptive changes to business models will have a profound impact on the employment landscape over the coming years. Many of the major drivers of transformation currently affecting global industries are expected to have a significant impact on jobs, ranging from significant job creation to job displacement, and from heightened labour productivity to widening skills gaps. In many industries and countries, the most in-demand occupations or specialties did not exist 10 or even five years ago, and the pace of change is set to accelerate. By one popular estimate, 65% of children entering primary school today will ultimately end up working in completely new job types that don’t yet exist. In such a rapidly evolving employment landscape, the ability to anticipate and prepare for future skills requirements, job content and the aggregate effect on employment is increasingly critical for businesses, governments and individuals in order to fully seize the opportunities presented by these trends—and to mitigate undesirable outcomes (WEF, 2016 Report).
There is going to be a drastic industrial shift which may take Africa unaware if nothing serious is done now!
African Educational Systems have remained undesirable. Africa’s Governmental Systems deteriorating everyday, African have become more and more lovers of other continents rather than theirs. There are therefore serious problems which are being under looked. All African must take the bull by its horns before it becomes too late.
If neo-development is possible then Africa must embark on this. The time to continue in fruitless talks in selfish corners have past, now is the time for collective action.
Is this new generation ready to face the challenge ? Yes because it understands the cause of the lapses and delay. No more procrastination, with the help of EUNAD we are on the path to success, it will not be easy but with God we will make it.
The good news of development is at the horizon. A new Culture of Truth, Honesty, Transparency, Accountability, Reasonable Hard work, pool resources, entrepreneurship, risk-bearing, is required.
African worldwide must start now, EUNAD is ready for the drive.
May God Bless all of You.
